Start Each Day with a Smile…
One of my personal resolutions is to begin and continue a Blog for our office, which we will post frequently. It will be primarily about dentistry, about technologies, latest dental advances and the like, but it may also digress into more personal or philosophical tracts. It will reflect whatever I happen to be thinking of at the time I write it, sort of like Mark Twain did in his Autobiography. So I am in better company than he is.
As we were thinking up relevant topics, I reflected on how vastly Dentistry as a whole, and my practice in particular, has changed in the 30 years since I first hung out my shingle. A great many, possibly nearly half, of my patients had not yet been born then, and to them the descriptions will seem like ancient history. Others may well be reminded of my first or second office, or of others like it, as I describe what it was like to practice back before the days of Bonding and computers. Still others might be able to see back much farther. Most of you will probably yawn at the thought, but I hope that my honest and heartfelt and hopefully accurate descriptions, without exaggerations, will perhaps touch a few chords in your memories, and bring a bit of merriment to your day.
And we are hopeful that you enjoy this blog. If any of you have any questions or suggestions, we would love to hear them! So, let me close with a great bit of advice from W. C. Fields, who said, “Start Each Day with a Smile and Get it Over With!”

This is a great way to start the new year. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
