Meet Team Teasdale
Dr. Teasdale believes his greatest asset in treating his patients is not his office or his most advanced piece of dental equipment. Without a doubt, it is his staff.
Anna Sananixay, Care CoordinatorAnna is much more than the person behind the smile that is seemingly everywhere at once. Her position is to make everything and everyone run seamlessly for the optimal dental experience. These are talents she refined during her earlier career in the Hospitality industry, and which built on her natural vibrancy and interests in people-pleasing, as well as her inborn need to always be accomplishing things. For while she appears to have time for everything and everyone, it is because she is, in reality, a multi-tasked par excellence. A perpetual motion machine, personified.
As if to underscore that point, out of the office Anna and her husband have three young children, each of them demanding, and receiving, full-time attention. That, plus running their house and household, make us think that all Anna needs now are a couple of dogs.

Yamina Hall, Office ManagerA native Chicagoan, and tired of the winters, Yamina has been a "Portlander by choice" since 1991. And since first beginning in Dentistry some twenty years ago, she has dedicated herself to making every aspect of the experience comfortable, for every patient.
Yamina combines an easy and comfortable personality with a deep commitment as patient advocate. She is thorough and complete and meticulous in all her dealings, and is excellent at keeping people informed, throughout their care. And, she does it all with a chuckle in her voice, and a warmth that reassures that you are dealing with the best.
As part of her commitment to personal growth she works with Medical Teams International (Northwest Medical Teams), Give Kids a Smile, and Compassion North Portland. And this year is expanding to coordinate our annual Rose Haven Day, as a way of giving back to the community.
Feel free to ask Yamina about any questions or concerns you may have about your dental care, or your benefits, or your account. You will find her extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and one of those people you feel instantly as though you have known for your entire life.

Kim Phan, Registered Dental HygienistKim has been practicing dental hygiene since 2010 and joined the Advanced Dental Arts NW team January 2018. A native Portlander, she graduated from Pacific University School of Dental Science and has gained full certification in laser dentistry, CPR, local anesthesia, nitrous-oxide, and restorative procedures. And she has refined her skills in a periodontal office, as well as heading the hygiene aspects of a large local dental practice.
You can expect excellent professional care,
I will put you at ease,
Demonstrate hygiene excellence
And make your cleaning a breeze.
I commit to give you my very best care,
And cater to your individual needs.
In addition to her poetic ambitions, Kim has a more than full life beyond dentistry. A native Portlander, Kim for several years was a Cheerleader for the Portland Trailblazers. Not just one of the fans who root them on, but an actual, bona fide member of the official squad. If you have ever watched a petite young woman standing on the shoulders of a man at curtsied, or doing a swan dive into the arms of two men, the odds are great that that was Kim. And while it tells you little of her dental talents, at least it bespeaks her diverse range of interests.
So whether she is teaching her son to snowboard before his second birthday, or spending time with her very active and extensive family, Kim is always on the move. We think she loves Hygiene in large part because it gives her the opportunity to actually sit down.
Kim can be reached at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Ou Sananixay, Lead ClinicianOu comes to ADANW from Laos, by way of Thailand and the Philippines. She arrived in Portland in l986 with an interest in medicine and graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Portland Community College, and immediately joined our practice.
You cannot meet Ou and not be impressed with her energies and openness. If anything tops her chair-side clinical skills, it would be her compassionate nature. She has that rare talent of putting everyone at ease, with her light touch and dancing laugh. Patients often call her “Mommy Ou”, because she is forever babying them.
In real life, Ou greatly enjoys fishing and crabbing, hunting mushrooms, and hanging out with her mother, siblings, children, and great numbers of relatives. She is very active in cultural celebrations, and loves to travel anywhere.
Ou speaks Leu, Lao, Thai, Mien, and English. Ou can be reached at: Ou@advanceddentalartsnw.com.
